It would redound to the grace

of the whole of Creation,

if human speculative constructs

quit their siege

upon the sanctuary of understanding.

A hidden reason is like a candle

buried beneath an altar.

The flowering body politic and the ripening personality

are anchored to the selfsame rock:

the high prerogative of the crowned will.

Just as God descends into the flesh,

the spiritual seeker steps into the office.
